It is my pleasure, along with the students, staff, and administration of Mary Ann Winterling Elementary School, to welcome you to our website. As I embark on this new school year as Principal, I am confident that you will find the information on this site useful and that you will learn more about what make Mary Ann Winterling Elementary School a special place. I am committed to maintaining a positive school culture, high expectations for staff and students, and deep community engagement.

Having served as an educator with Baltimore City Schools for the past 27 years, I take on this Principal role having served in various capacities with the district. I plan to use my teaching and leadership background to continue to move Mary Ann Winterling Elementary towards greatness.

It is my goal that all students, staff, parents, community members, and visitors that step into this building are excited to be here. This attitude helps us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in an innovative and nurturing environment. It is also my goal that in everything we do, our students are a constant and number one focus. As we move through this year, please know that my door is always open for you. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve in this role for the 23-24 school year. I look forward to seeing and working with you all!
